New Watering Days

NEW LAWN WATERING DAYS FOR FELLS COVE!
Toho Water has changed the Fells Cove watering days to Monday and Friday.  You can water your lawn anytime during those days except from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  There is no more restrictions for odd and even addresses – Monday and Friday for all Fells Cove homes.  Please reset your sprinkler timers.  Toho has made this adjustment which will give Fells Cove additional water pressure – this should help our sprinklers operate more efficiently.

Code Red Alert

This is an important Safety Reminder from the Fells Cove HOA. While many of us have read the reports indicating an overall drop in violent crime across the country, there continues to be an increase in personal property crime, especially theft of or from vehicles. Most of these vehicle thefts are “crimes of opportunity” and you can greatly reduce your chances of becoming a victim if you make an effort to follow just a few Safety Rules.

1.Never leave your vehicle unattended with the keys in the ignition.
2.Whenever you park your car, close the windows, lock the doors and take the key with you, even when parked in front of your home.
3. Park in busy and well-lighted areas.
4. Do not leave valuables-GPS, GPS holder, cell phone, backpacks, shopping bags, Holiday packages-in plain view. Lock them in the trunk.
5. Equip your vehicle with an alarm or other anti-theft device.
6. Don’t hide a spare key in a magnetic key box; thieves know all the hiding places.

Report any suspicious activity immediately to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Dept. or the law enforcement agency having jurisdiction over your location.

Parking Issues

Did you know it is against the law the block the public sidewalk with your car.?
Yes, you can actually be issued a parking ticket for blocking the sidewalk.  The sidewalks are intended to allow safe travel for pedestrians.
Anyone can contact the Osceola Sheriff's Office to report violations.

**Pet Reminder**

A Reminder to please be courteous to your community and your neighbors by picking up after your dog. Remember that it is required by the community covenants to pick up after your pet. An empty house's yard is not an invitation to let your animal use that yard as a bathroom.
Please help keep your neighborhood beautiful!

Commercial Vehicles and Parking
No commercial vehicles are allowed to be parked in the community overnight.  They must be parked in the garage.  This includes any vehicles with advertising, lawn trailers, etc.

Parking- Also overnight parking on the street is not allowed per our covenants.  All vehicles must be parked in the garage or driveway.

Please do not block the sidewalk!

Plan Now for a Great Lawn & Landscape
Now is the time to make plans to get your landscape in great shape for the coming year.  Our lawns are the first thing people see when visiting out community and we all need to make sure we maintain our landscape.  This is very important as our neighborhood is in competition with other area communities (especially the new ones) for attracting buyers and increasing our property values. The Board encourages all homeowners to add trees to your yard along with flowers & bushes & mulch to the plant beds in front of your house as this will improve your landscape and property values.  Please take the time to review the Landscape tips and if you are not a Do-It-Yourself person, please hire a landscaper or pest control/fertilizer company to service your property.
